Resolution approving a Joint Participation Agreement between Miami-Dade County and the City of Sweetwater for up to $1,500,000 in Mobility Impact Fee funds for the design of SW 112th Avenue widening and a new bridge crossing Tamiami/C-4 Canal to SW 8th Street. The item was withdrawn at the Transportation Committee meeting on 9/9/2026. The project is located in Commission Districts 11 and 12. The design start date is anticipated as December 1, 2026, with the agreement continuing through September 30, 2028. The City of Sweetwater adopted Resolution No. 5236 on February 9, 2026, approving the JPA. An SBE Services two percent subcontractor goal applies. The project aims to decrease traffic congestion on SW 107th Avenue and maximize vehicular and pedestrian safety. The City will implement a Public Involvement Plan during design and construction.
