Resolution approving a Joint Participation Agreement between Miami-Dade County and the City of Sweetwater for funding up to $1,500,000 for the design of SW 112th Avenue widening and a new bridge crossing Tamiami/C-4 Canal to SW 8th Street. Status: Withdrawn. Introduced 8/19/2026. Withdrawn at Transportation Cmte on 9/9/2026. Anticipated design start date December 1, 2026, agreement continuing through September 30, 2028. Funding from Mobility Impact Fee Zone D funds. Project located in Commission Districts 11 and 12. SBE Services two percent subcontractor goal applies. City Council adopted Resolution No. 5236 on February 9, 2026 approving the JPA. City will implement a Public Involvement Plan during design and construction.
