GRU plans to establish an annual agreement for Sanitary Sewer Line & Manhole Rehabilitation Services. This is a three-year continuing service contract with two optional one-year extensions. The agreement will be for services needed on an as-required basis to rehabilitate the gravity sewer wastewater collection system. Work will be completed within the fiscal year it is released, with GRU's fiscal year beginning October 1st annually. This project will involve site clearing and grading, underground utility work, and potentially concrete and masonry for manhole rehabilitation. Contractors specializing in sewer line repair, manhole rehabilitation, and related underground utility work are encouraged to reach out early. Engaging before bids and permits are finalized offers an advantage in securing potential work.
