Board of County Commissioners
Board of County Commissioners · 2026-06-16 · meeting
The Board of County Commissioners met to discuss various planned and under-review projects. Several opportunities for local businesses were identified. These include a commercial development near State Road 535 and Conroy Road, which could involve civil engineers, surveyors, land clearing crews, utility contractors, concrete and paving companies, and material suppliers. Another development is planned near State Road 535 and Winter Garden Vineland Road, potentially creating work for site preparation contractors, civil engineers, utility installers, concrete and paving companies, and material suppliers. Additionally, upgrades to traffic signals on State Road 50 and widening of State Road 50 are planned, which may require paving companies, utility contractors, and heavy equipment operators. The Clarcona Park Lift Station Upgrades and the Corrections Female Detention Center Building Automation System Replacement and Fire Alarm Upgrade projects could also offer work for various trades and suppliers.
