The Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) of Palatka is reviewing its redevelopment framework and several ongoing projects. These projects include long-range planning for the CRA Gateway (Port Consolidated) corridor, updates to the CRA Redevelopment Plan, support for a Small Business Development Center, a Public Art Grant Program, a Building Improvement Grant Program, a Green Gables Historic Marker, Tilghman House Renovations, Streetscape II improvements, a National Register Historic District Nomination for the Central Business District, Bronson-Mulholland House Porch Handrails, and Larimar Arts Center Renovations. These initiatives are currently under review as part of the agency's planning and budgeting process for fiscal years 2024, 2025, and 2026. The scope of work involves planning, public improvements, economic development, historic preservation, building rehabilitation, streetscape enhancements, and cultural activities. Contractors, suppliers, and service providers in areas such as general contracting, site preparation, construction trades, engineering, architecture, and historic preservation could find opportunities. Engaging early in the review process allows businesses to understand project needs before bids and permits are finalized.
