Pasco County is planning the construction of a new Fire Rescue Station No. 4, located at 14535 State Road 54 in Odessa. This project involves a 13,480 square foot, one-story building constructed with concrete masonry units, wood trusses, and a standing seam metal roof, featuring a brick veneer exterior with stone accents. The interior will include an apparatus bay with three drive-thru bays, locker rooms, kitchen, day room, offices, training spaces, bunk rooms, and MEP rooms. Site work will involve significant fill to raise the building pad and surrounding areas, along with retention areas. The project is currently under review, with a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) amendment to a Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) task order being considered. Construction is expected to begin in Spring 2026 and conclude by Summer 2027. This project will require site preparation, grading, underground utilities, concrete and masonry work, framing, roofing, MEP trades, interior and exterior finishes, and final landscaping. Local contractors, suppliers, and service providers are encouraged to engage early, before final bid packages and permits are issued, to explore potential opportunities in this significant civic development.
