The Pasco Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is reviewing several items related to transportation planning and program development. These include the draft 2026 List of Project Priorities (LOPP), the draft FY 2027-2031 Transportation Improvement Program, and an amendment to the FY2026-2030 Transportation Improvement Program. Additionally, the MPO is considering the final Unified Planning Work Program for Fiscal Years 2026-2027 and 2027-2028, a Consolidated Planning Grant for FY 2027-2028, and an update to the Pasco County Safety Action Plan, including a Vision Zero Resolution. The MPO is also reviewing a Florida DOT Joint Certification Review Report and an Active Transportation Letter. These items are currently under review with a recommendation for approval. The planning and approval of these transportation programs and plans will set the stage for future infrastructure projects, potentially involving site preparation, utility work, paving, and construction across Pasco County. Contractors, suppliers, and service providers in civil engineering, construction, and material supply may find opportunities by engaging with the MPO and related agencies early in the planning process before specific projects are finalized and bids are solicited.
