Pasco County is planning several transportation improvement projects as part of the 2026 List of Project Priorities. These projects include widening roads, adding lanes, reconstructing intersections, and building multi-use paths and pedestrian overpasses. Specific projects involve widening CR 54, US 98, US 301, and SR 52, as well as realigning the CR 52/21st St/Suwanee Way/Meridian Avenue intersection. Several pedestrian overpasses are also planned, including on SR 54 and SR 52. Additionally, multi-use paths are proposed for the Orange Belt Trail and other locations. These projects are in various stages, from under design to fully funded for construction, with some expected to begin in 2026 or 2027. This presents opportunities for contractors, suppliers, and service providers in site preparation, grading, concrete work, paving, utility installation, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and landscaping. Early engagement is advised as plans and permits are still being finalized.
