The Pasco MPO is planning to conduct a series of transportation system analysis and planning tasks between July 2026 and June 2028. These tasks include developing and analyzing land use data, collecting and analyzing transportation system data such as bicycle and pedestrian activity, and updating inventories of sidewalks and non-motorized facilities. The project also involves preparing maps and reports on traffic counts and crashes, performing traffic signal retiming studies, and analyzing TSMO strategies. Additionally, there will be field safety audits, traffic signal retiming studies, and the creation of an emerging mobility plan. This work is currently under review as part of the MPO's Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) for FY27-FY28. The scope involves data collection, analysis, reporting, and planning studies. Contractors specializing in data analysis, civil engineering, transportation planning, and related technical services could find opportunities. Reaching out early to the Pasco MPO and its partners, before specific scopes of work and consultant selections are finalized, may provide an advantage.
