The Pasco MPO is planning to conduct a variety of transportation system analysis and planning activities between July 2026 and June 2028. These activities include developing and analyzing land use data, collecting and analyzing transportation system data, preparing maps and reports on traffic counts and crashes, updating inventories of sidewalks and non-motorized facilities, and performing traffic signal retiming studies. The MPO will also analyze and implement strategies to manage congestion and improve safety, conduct field safety audits, and create an emerging mobility plan. This work will involve data collection, analysis, reporting, and potentially studies. Local contractors, suppliers, and service providers in areas such as data analysis, engineering, surveying, and reporting could find opportunities. Engaging early before specific scopes of work, bids, and permits are finalized may offer a competitive advantage.
