The Pasco MPO is undertaking an update to its county-wide Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) for the period of July 2026 through June 2028. This plan will guide transportation needs and investments across all travel modes for the next 25 years. The update includes developing strategies for an integrated multimodal transportation system, improving system resilience, and addressing congestion management. Specific activities involve corridor studies to estimate costs and environmental impacts of proposed improvements, developing safety and security plans, and incorporating active transportation and freight elements.
