The MPO Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) is reviewing performance management initiatives for Pasco County's transportation system. This review includes developing and analyzing land use data, collecting and monitoring transportation system data, and updating inventories of sidewalks and non-motorized facilities. The process also involves preparing maps and reports on traffic counts, crashes, and trends, as well as conducting traffic signal retiming studies and analyzing TSMO strategies. Additionally, an emerging mobility plan will be created to assess electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, and golf cart usage. These activities are planned to occur between July 2026 and June 2028. This review sets the stage for potential work in data analysis, system planning, and infrastructure inventory updates. Local contractors, suppliers, and service providers in areas like data management, engineering, surveying, and construction support could find opportunities. Engaging early, before detailed plans and permits are finalized, offers the best chance to compete for future work.
