The Pasco County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) has adopted its Fiscal Years 2027 - 2031 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). This program outlines planned transportation projects for the next five years. The TIP includes federal discretionary grant awards, projects for the transportation disadvantaged population, and federally obligated highway, bicycle, pedestrian, and transit projects. The adoption of this program means that projects within it are planned and moving forward in the public process. This program will set in motion a wide range of construction activities, including potential site clearing and grading, underground utility work, road and pathway paving, and potentially vertical construction for transit facilities. Contractors, suppliers, and service providers in civil construction, heavy equipment, materials supply, and related trades should reach out to the MPO and relevant county departments now.
