Altumint, Inc. is proposing a violator-funded safety program for Santa Rosa County that includes school zone speed and red light enforcement cameras. This program aims to increase safety by monitoring and enforcing speed limits in school zones and traffic signal compliance at intersections. Altumint will provide and install all necessary equipment, including cameras, poles, and related hardware, and will manage all back-office processing, such as printing, postage, and payment processing. The project is currently under review, with potential for additional sites to be added later. The scope of work involves site analysis, permitting, system installation, and ongoing maintenance. Local contractors, suppliers, and service providers in areas like electrical services, sign production, and general construction could find opportunities by engaging with Altumint early in the process, before final plans and permits are settled.
