Santa Rosa County is planning an extension of the taxiway at Whiting Aviation Park. This project involves adding approximately 500 feet to the east end of the existing taxiway, including associated grading and electrical work for taxiway lighting. The project is currently under review, with design expected to take about three weeks and construction estimated to take around 100 days. The work will involve site clearing, grading, underground utility work, and paving. Contractors, suppliers, and service providers are encouraged to reach out early to learn more about the upcoming construction change order with Panhandle Grading and Paving, Inc. as plans and permits are being finalized.
