SAND LAKE COVE - PRE-APPLICATION

A proposal is under review to rezone approximately 9.65 acres from R-1AAA to a Planned Development (PD) district. This project, known as Sand Lake Cove, also includes plans for a subdivision and site plan. The development is planned for the north side of Sand Lake Road, east of N Hunt Club Boulevard. The proposal is currently in the pre-application stage with the Development Review Committee. If approved, this project would involve site clearing and grading, followed by underground utility work and the installation of stormwater management systems. Subsequent phases would include road and driveway paving, vertical construction for homes, and final landscaping. Local contractors, suppliers, and service providers in site preparation, utility work, paving, building trades, and landscaping could find opportunities by engaging early in the process before final plans and bids are established.
