The City of Tavares is presenting conceptual master plans for the Golden Triangle Regional Park, covering both East and West Campuses. Powell Studio Architecture has been selected to design and engineer the complete build-out of the park system. This project has involved extensive community input through meetings, surveys, and online engagement over the past year. The plans are currently under review, with a workshop scheduled for City Council to provide input and feedback. Following this, a final community meeting will be held, after which the final master site plans and a phasing strategy will be presented to the City Council. This process will set in motion site clearing and grading, underground utility work, paving, and potentially vertical construction and landscaping for the park facilities. Contractors, suppliers, and service providers interested in future work should engage early to understand the project's scope and timeline as it moves through the planning and design phases.
