Taylor County is seeking experienced Design/Builder Firms to design and construct the new Fire Station 7 Facility in Steinhatchee, Florida. This project will be delivered using a Design-Build process, where one firm will be responsible for all programming, materials, labor, equipment, and professional services. The selected firm must be a Florida-licensed General Contractor, Architect, and Engineer team with experience in similar-sized facilities and a history of completing projects under a Guaranteed Maximum Price. The project is currently in the solicitation phase, with a pre-Proposal conference scheduled for July 9th, 2026. The scope of work will involve the complete design and construction of the fire station, including site preparation, building construction, and final finishes. Local contractors, trades, suppliers, and service providers are encouraged to connect with potential Design/Builder firms early in the process, before bids and permits are finalized, to explore subcontracting or supply opportunities.
