The City of Cocoa Planning & Zoning Board / Local Planning Agency held a regular meeting on June 3, 2026. Three items were postponed: 1. 3600 Grissom Pkwy Comp Plan Amendment (PZ 25-00500006 Ord No. 05-2026), a small-scale comprehensive plan amendment for approximately 40 acres to change future land use from 'very low density residential' to 'industrial'. This was postponed to allow for an accompanying Zoning Map Amendment application. 2. Sky Powersports Large Scale Site Plan (PZ 25-00200020), for a powersports vehicle display, sales, and maintenance facility of approximately 52,550 square feet, located on State Road 524, west of Interstate-95. This was postponed to July 1, 2026. 3. Ordinance 11-2026: Uptown C-C Zoning Text Amendment to Add Optical Services, which allows optical services as a permitted use in the Uptown neighborhood (UN) subdistrict where the underlying zoning is Core-Commercial (C-C). The meeting also approved the agenda for June 3, 2026, and minutes from May 6, 2026.
