[case Bid No. 2526-03, Resolution No. 2216-2026, Ordinance No. 2026-8236, Ordinance No. 2026-8237] The City Council approved a memorandum of agreement with North Florida Utility Coordination Group for 2026-2031. They also approved an invoice payment to WastePro for $27,882.56 for 2024 storm cleanup. The council awarded Bid No. 2526-03 to T. G. Utility Company for Parts A and B of the New Water Well #16 and Raw Water Main Extension Project for an amount not to exceed $2,202,938. They approved the award of Contract Administration to Four Waters Engineering for an amount not to exceed $105,524. A reimbursement agreement with Beaches Energy for three-phase service installation for an amount not to exceed $70,000 was approved. The Mayor and City Manager were authorized to negotiate and execute any contract resulting from this bid award. Resolution No. 2216-2026 was adopted, amending rates, charges, and fees for the Junior Lifeguard Program to provide for one additional scholarship-based camp session. Ordinance No. 2026-8236 was approved on second reading, establishing a two-year pilot program to increase the number of temporary extension of premises permits. Ordinance No. 2026-8237 was approved on first reading, amending Chapter 34 Land Development Code, Articles III, V, VI, and VII, and a second reading was scheduled for June 15, 2026.
