This item is on its second reading and public hearing, with the first reading held on July 14, 2026. The City Council will also consider an ordinance to abandon and vacate a 12-foot-wide unimproved public alley right-of-way at 22 E. New Haven Avenue, also on its second reading and public hearing, with the first reading on July 14, 2026. Additionally, an ordinance to vacate a portion of a 15-foot-wide public utility easement encompassing a building at 1000 N. Wickham Road is scheduled for its second reading and public hearing, following a first reading on July 14, 2026. A contract award for Electrical Improvements at Crane Creek Reserve Golf Course, Project No. 10621, is proposed to Accurate Power & Technology, Inc. for $142,130. A license agreement for a laydown yard at Ballard Park, 924 Thomas Barbour Drive, is proposed for the Navigational Aids and Channel Markers project with in-Depth, Inc. The City Manager is authorized to submit a grant application to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection for the Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Plant Expansion at Joe Mullins RO Water Treatment Plant Project for $20,575,400. Another grant application is proposed to the U.S. Department of Justice for the Cops Law Enforcement Mental Health and Wellness Act Program for $182,132 to expand mental health and wellness services for the Police Department.
