The Planning and Zoning Board recommended approval for Conditional Use Request CU2024-0009 and Site Plan Approval PLAN2024-0016 for Circle K. The board also recommended approval for Finding of Consistency FOC2026-0003 for Mayfair Community Development District Contraction, which will involve 500 plus homes and townhomes. Additionally, they recommended approval for Finding of Consistency FOC2026-0004 and Zoning Text Amendment TEXT2026-0004 related to Affordable Housing. The board also discussed and recommended to City Council that code enforcement be empowered to levy daily fines on derelict and vacant downtown buildings and to inspect properties for condemnation or demolition. A report is to be prepared within sixty days on priority buildings, enforcement actions, fines, and incentives for redevelopment.
