The Panama City Planning Board met on April 13, 2026. Several variance requests and development agreements were discussed. A variance for a 3 ft. rear setback and a 5 ft. side setback was approved for Herring Companies, Inc. at 616 E 4TH COURT. A variance for a 45 ft. front setback was approved for Michael Mitchell at 1606 and 1608 9TH STREET E. A variance for a 30 ft. front setback was approved for Beverly Jones at 2204 E 8TH STREET. A variance for a 26 ft. front setback was approved for Thomas Zollo at 1210 CLAY AVENUE. A development agreement for a private membership yacht club and accessory marina at 218 BUNKERS COVE ROAD and 212 BUNKERS COVE ROAD was recommended for approval. A major development approval for St. Andrew Bay Yacht Club and Bunkers Point Educational Foundation Inc. at 218 BUNKERS COVE ROAD and 212 BUNKERS COVE ROAD was approved contingent on the development agreement approval. A major development approval for WATSON BAYOU MARINA PARTNERS LLC at 407 MAPLE AVENUE was approved.
