[Port of Pensacola; case 26-190] City Council is considering awarding Bid No. 26-029 for the High Performance Maritime Center of Excellence Dock Complex - Landside Construction to R J Gorman of Panama City, Florida. This project is Phase I of a multi-phase development at the Port of Pensacola, aimed at advancing waterfront resilience, innovation, and business growth. The total Phase I cost is $4,378,477.27, including a base bid of $3,980,432.27 and a 10% contingency of $393,044.00. Funding for this phase includes $5,978,581 million from the Florida Seaport Transportation and Economic Development (FSTED) Program grant and a $1,992,860 local match. [1015 North E Street, Pensacola, Florida; case 26-004] City Council is considering approving a Lease Agreement with Community Action Program Committee, Inc. (CAPC) for the property at 1015 North E Street, Pensacola, Florida, for the operation of a licensed infant childcare program. This approval is contingent upon CRA review and approval of any proposed modifications, improvements, or maintenance decisions. [2907 East Blount Street; case 26-493, 26-494] City Council is considering a request to vacate the remaining alleyway abutting 2907 East Blount Street. A public hearing is scheduled for May 14, 2026, to consider this request. Proposed Ordinance No. 6 - 26 pertains to closing, abandoning, and vacating an unimproved portion of Blount Street and an unimproved alleyway in Pensacola. [case 26-542] City Council is considering appointing Renee Borden to the Zoning Board of Adjustment to fill an unexpired term ending July 14, 2028. [case 26-545] City Council is considering appointing Christopher Satterwhite to the Urban Core Redevelopment Board for a three (3) year term expiring March 31, 2029. Satterwhite is an incumbent representing the Old East Hill Area and has business interests within the city and the Urban Core CRA.
