THIRD AMENDMENT TO THE PHASE VI LEASE

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution approving the Third Amendment to the Phase VI Lease Agreement between Miami-Dade County and Foundry Meek VI, LLC. This amendment adds 103,659 square feet of land to the existing leasehold at Miami-Opa-locka Executive Airport, extending the development period. The project includes the development of a minimum of 18,000 square feet of aircraft hangar space, a taxiway, and parking. Foundry Meek VI, LLC will also make an annual community benefit contribution of no less than $50,000.00 for the first three years to the City of Miami Gardens. The estimated rent to the County's airport system over the term is $22,890,000.00. The amendment was adopted on May 5, 2026.
