FLORIDA CITY CRA FY25-26 BUDGET

Miami-Dade County Commission adopted the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 budget for the Florida City Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and the Florida City Community Redevelopment Area. The total budget amount is $16,131,007.00. Key expenditures include $9,050,000 for building and construction improvements, such as renovations to the Pioneer Museum and Depot Building, construction of a new museum building, improvements to the Cultural Center Plaza, and work on the Historic Limestone Cottage. Other allocations are for contingency reserve, land acquisition/demolition/relocation, transportation initiatives, contractual services for the Cultural Center, administrative expenditures, community policing, infrastructure for public art, assistance to non-profit organizations, housing reconstruction, commercial building grants, and operating expenses. The CRA's revenue source is tax increment financing (TIF). The budget was adopted by the Agency and the City of Florida City prior to County Commission approval.
