The County engaged in negotiations to secure more favorable pricing prior to Microsoft's scheduled price increases in July 2026. A prior competitive solicitation (ITB No. EVN0031348) was rejected due to changes in operational needs and a shift to cloud infrastructure, with the lowest responsive bidder's pricing matching the negotiated renewal price. The County plans to issue a new competitive solicitation in the future to avoid future designated purchases.
