Roy's Restaurant, Inc. anticipates a minimum of $3.35 million in capital investment and the creation of 10 quality jobs over the next 5 years. The public hearing was held on July 6, 2026. [Taylor County] Taylor County is preparing an implementation plan for spending Coordinated Opioid Recovery (CORE) Network funds. Doctors' Memorial Hospital (DMH) has requested $200,000 to create a 'safe room' in the ER for patients with opioid and substance use issues and to purchase medications for DMH to serve as a 24/7 induction site. DISC Village has requested $500,000 to purchase medications supporting opioid use disorder treatment, provide direct client services including case management and counseling, and peer support. DISC Village currently serves 102 individuals in Taylor County with substance use disorders and aims to double or triple patient volume. The total requested funding is $700,000. [Peacock Highlands subdivision, Taylor County, Florida] Taylor County is deeding property to the District School Board of Taylor County, Florida, for use as athletic, recreational, and educational facilities for public schools.
