AVI Properties is proposing to expand an existing granite and cabinet shop located at 1577 N. Florida Ave. The project involves expanding the current 4,593 square foot facility to a total of 12,742 square feet. This expansion includes 625 square feet for office, retail, and showroom space, with the remaining 12,117 square feet dedicated to warehousing granite slabs and cabinets, and manufacturing related components for the local housing industry. The new site plan includes paved parking and a new stormwater management system, with an existing well and plans for one new onsite wastewater system. This Conditional Use Permit application is currently under review by the Planning and Development Commission. The project scope includes site clearing and grading, installation of a new stormwater system, construction of a new wastewater system, paving for parking areas, and vertical construction for the expanded facility, followed by finish trades and landscaping.
