Rowland (DE), LLC is supporting the City of Cocoa Beach in a program to find and fix parts of the sanitary sewer system that let in unwanted water. This work will be given out through specific orders, called Task Orders. These orders could involve fixing manholes, lining sewer pipes without digging them up, and inspecting and lining sewer pipes that connect homes to the main sewer lines. The City of Cocoa Beach is using money from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to pay for this. Contractors will need to get access to areas, prepare them for work, clean and remove waste, do inspections, put in new lining materials, and fix any areas that are disturbed. Because this is an on-call contract, the exact places, amounts of work, and methods will change with each Task Order. This means contractors should be ready for varied work. This project is currently under review and offers an early opportunity for general contractors, site preparation and grading services, concrete and masonry specialists, plumbing contractors, and suppliers of construction materials.
