The City of Ocoee is reviewing a landscape grant application submitted on behalf of the Spring Lake Reserve HOA. This project aims to enhance common areas, specifically along AD Mims Road. Work will involve removing dead shrubs, cleaning up the area, and applying mulch. Turf will be installed on both sides of the front entrance. Additional mulch will be placed around the pool cabana and mailbox kiosk, as well as in three common area pocket parks. The project also includes installing new plants along AD Mims Road and cleaning and repainting a brick wall bordering the community on the north side. This project is currently under review, presenting an early opportunity for local businesses. The scope of work includes site cleanup, grading, mulching, turf installation, planting, and potentially masonry repair and painting. Contractors specializing in landscaping, site preparation, irrigation, and general site cleanup could find opportunities.
