This item concerns planned park improvements in West Melbourne. Supervisor Ragozino discussed the upcoming construction of sunshades and canopies at Sandhill Crane North. The playground area will be closed for a period. Additionally, railing will be installed for the skate park bleachers. Dead trees are also scheduled for clearing and replacement near I-95. This project is currently in the planning stages. Work is expected to involve site clearing, grading, and potentially concrete and masonry for foundations. It will also include carpentry and installation for canopies and railings, as well as landscaping for tree replacement. Local contractors, trades, suppliers, and service providers are encouraged to monitor this project as plans develop.
