B. Tallwood Park Masterplan

The City of West Melbourne is planning improvements for Tallwood Park. The project includes relocating an existing sports court, potentially adding a new nature-based playground, and shifting the parking lot south. A new walking path or trail is also being considered, with a discussion about adding a bridge or relocating the parking lot instead. Low-level lighting on timers is planned for the park. The current sports court area may be removed and left natural, serving as a neighborhood entrance. A water fountain or spigot might be added. This project is currently under review by the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. Work could involve site clearing, grading, concrete for courts and paths, utility work for lighting and water, paving for the parking lot, and final landscaping.
