The City of Winter Park is reviewing plans for significant improvements at the Winter Pines 18 and Winter Park 9 Golf Courses. At Winter Park 9, putting greens suffered damage from a herbicide misapplication and will require full regrassing. This work involves stripping the greens, restoring original contours, and reestablishing turf with TifEagle bermudagrass, coordinated with golf course architect Keith Rhebb. This project will happen alongside a planned bunker renovation. At Winter Pines 18, the focus is on improving putting green quality and consistency throughout the summer. The project is currently under review, with a site visit report completed in April 2026.
