The City of Winter Park is reviewing its electric vehicle (EV) charger rates and operations. Originally free, the public EV stations faced issues with monopolization and blocked access, leading to a temporary fee structure. Vendor Optimus has taken over operations, implementing market-based rates for Level 2 and Level 3 chargers, with plans to replace aging Level 2 chargers with Level 3 units.
