Resolution approving a First Amendment to a Land Exchange Agreement between Miami-Dade County and the District Board of Trustees of Miami-Dade College. The County conveys 48,456 square feet (County Parcel, portion of Folio No. 01-3135-061-0010, located at 1851 NW 9th Avenue, Miami) to the College, in exchange for the College conveying 48,102 square feet (College Parcel, portion of Folio No. 01-3135-106-0010, located at 1000 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami) to the County for use by the Public Health Trust for parking to support the new Emergency Department at Jackson Memorial Medical Center. The amendment removes the closing condition requiring the Public Health Trust to obtain a No Further Action Letter from DERM, modifies the environmental remediation provision, modifies the closing date definition, defines the effective date of the First Amendment, and requires post-closing cooperation on information exchange.
