The City of Mount Dora is planning to protect Wastewater Treatment Plant #1 Office Building by installing a generator. This project involves providing a generator, sized at approximately 30-kW or as determined by a vendor and electrical engineer, along with an automatic transfer switch, a 120-gallon fuel tank, and a new concrete pad. The generator and its components must be protected from 500-year flood events and high winds, meeting National Flood Insurance Program and ASCE 7 standards. The project is currently under review.
