A traffic signal warrant study is planned for the intersection of S.R. 52 and Western Driveway Access. This study is required before construction plan approval for a planned development (PUD) that is expected to create 2,500 or more daily vehicle trips. If the study shows a traffic signal is needed, the developer must design, permit, and build it. The county will reimburse the developer for costs exceeding their share. If a third party handles the signal, the developer will pay their share to the county. If a signal is not warranted, the developer will still pay their proportionate share for the signal to the county.
