The Club at Indrio Creek project is planned to include workforce housing. This project is currently under review by the St. Lucie County Planning & Zoning Commission. The requirements state that 8% of the total dwelling units must be workforce housing, with half of those affordable to households earning 80% to 100% of the Area Median Income and the other half affordable to households earning 100% to 120% of AMI. These units will be dispersed throughout the neighborhood and will be available as rental and owner-occupied homes. The project will involve the construction of new housing units, likely including site preparation, utility installation, vertical construction, and finishing trades. Contractors, suppliers, and service providers in residential construction and related trades can explore opportunities by engaging early in the process before final plans and bids are established.
