Accessibility
Last updated: June 27, 2026
NewBiz Alert is built for professionals who reach out first, and we want every one of them to be able to use the product. We are committed to making this site and the app usable for people with disabilities, and we treat accessibility as part of the work, not an afterthought.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That standard covers things like readable color contrast, keyboard operability, labeled form fields, respecting a reduced-motion preference, and clear page structure for screen readers.
What we are doing
We are actively remediating the site against that standard. Recent and ongoing work includes:
- A skip-to-content link and a labeled main landmark on every page, so keyboard and screen-reader users can move past the navigation quickly.
- Honoring your operating system’s reduced-motion preference, so animations and transitions calm down when you ask them to.
- Captions on narrated video, labeled form controls, visible keyboard focus, and color contrast that meets the AA threshold.
- Keyboard-operable dialogs and menus, built on accessible component primitives.
We do not use an accessibility-overlay widget. Overlays do not bring a site into conformance and can interfere with assistive technology, so we fix the underlying markup instead.
Known limitations
This is ongoing work, so some areas may not fully meet the standard yet. If you run into a barrier, please tell us. A specific report helps us fix the right thing faster.
Report a problem
If any part of NewBiz Alert is hard to use with assistive technology, email us at hello@newbizalert.com. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or browser you were using, and we will work with you to resolve it. We aim to reply within 1 to 2 business days.
