The district is located east of John Pitts Road and north of Old Majette Tower Road. Derek Thomas addressed the Commission. Roy Van Wyk, representing the applicant KVW Law Firm, also addressed the Commission. The ordinance passed its first reading. Separately, the Commission approved a bid for Project Hometown Revitalization Group HH to T K Vandy LLC for $878,000.00. Contracts were approved for Comfort Stations Equipment and Services with AshBritt Management and Logistics LLC, Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) Holdco LLC, Garner Environmental Services Inc., SLSCO LTD, Storm Services, and USA Up Star. A task order for $24,000.00 was approved with Halff Associates for West Beach Drive and Mulberry Avenue roadway improvements. The Commission also approved Change Order No. 3 for the Martin Theatre in the amount of $1,130,256.54, which included a deductive Non-Federal Change Order of ($1,257,194.34) and a Federal Change Order of $2,387,450.88. The Commission discussed the vacant property at 2215 E 3rd Street (parcel number 22545-000-000) and its disposition, approving reimbursement for the housing program, a standard listing agreement, and an incentive for a Cottage Court Program. The final determination of sales proceeds will be made later.
