The Alachua County Tourist Development Council met on July 8, 2026. The meeting included approval of agenda and minutes, review of Meeting Advantage Program applications, updates on the Alachua County Comp Plan Economic Element, VCB CY2025 Economic Impact Report, and Sports and Events Center updates. Several funding requests for events were approved. A Billboard Advertising Program Application for the City of Alachua was approved with funding from unused Meeting Advantage Program grants. The council also reviewed staff presentations and reports on tourism and events. Member and Public Comments were heard. The meeting adjourned at 3:15 pm.
