The City of Ocala has approved an ordinance to rezone approximately 283.55 acres. This land is located west of Interstate 75 and north of SW 66th Street, in the 4000 block of SW 66th Street. The property is changing from a Planned Unit Development to a Planned Development zoning. This rezoning could create opportunities for civil engineers, surveyors, land clearing and grading crews, utility contractors, concrete and paving companies, and building material suppliers.
