The Ocoee City Commission met on July 21, 2026. Several items were on the agenda, including the approval of the 2027 Holiday Schedule and canceling seven (7) scheduled meeting dates. On July 7, 2026, the City Commission approved minutes, various agreements, and contracts. They also held first readings for ordinances concerning candidate challenges, EMS division, certified recovery residences, and the 5068 Adair Street annexation and rezoning. A public hearing was held for a Walmart Neighborhood Market Sign Variance, which was denied. The City Manager provided updates on the N. Lakewood Avenue construction project and the Forest Lake Golf Course aerification. Public comments were heard from various individuals and organizations.
