Multiple construction and development-related actions were approved by the City Commission. This includes construction management services for Cassen Park Redevelopment, additional work for Downtown Medians Landscape Renovation, and construction services for the Ormond Beach Municipal Airport Airfield Rejuvenation and Remarking project. Grant applications for public safety and airport improvements were also approved, along with a small-scale comprehensive plan amendment at 651 South Ridgewood Avenue, changing the land use from Urban Medium Intensity to Low Density Residential on 0.39 acres. An ordinance amendment prohibiting hazardous pharmaceuticals in the sewer system was also approved. Additional work was authorized for the Andy Romano Beachfront Park Seawall and ADA Ramp Reconstruction.
