Key items include accepting a proposal from Coleman Goodemote Construction Co., Inc. for construction management services for the Cassen Park Redevelopment Project. Also, authorizing additional work for A.M. Weigel Construction, Inc. for the Downtown Medians Landscape Renovation Project, increasing the contract by $3,873.10. The commission will also consider a grant application to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation for $39,933.00, a grant application for field improvements at the Ormond Beach Sports Complex, and grant agreements with the FAA and FDOT for airfield remarking and rejuvenation at the Ormond Beach Municipal Airport. Hi-Lite Airfield Services, LLC is recommended for construction services for the airport project. A.M. Weigel Construction, Inc. is also proposed for construction management services for a Facility Master Plan. Construct Co., Inc. will see an increase of $101,947.04 for additional work on the Andy Romano Beachfront Park Seawall and ADA Ramp Reconstruction. A public hearing is scheduled for a small-scale Comprehensive Plan Amendment at 651 South Ridgewood Avenue, changing the land use from Volusia County "Urban Medium Intensity" (UMI) to Ormond Beach "Low Density Residential" (LDR) for a 0.39± acre parcel. An ordinance amendment regarding hazardous pharmaceutical waste in the sewer system will also have its second reading.
