Item 6, 1011 N. Reus Street, a variance request to increase the maximum rear yard coverage area from 25% to 35.5% to allow an existing detached garage to remain for a future lot split, was approved as submitted. [523 & 527 E. Government Street; case 26-706] Conceptual review for a new two-story single-family residence and an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) at 523 & 527 E. Government Street. The project involves relocating a contributing historic structure to the rear of the property, constructing a new residence above a detached garage/workshop, building a new two-story single-family residence with an attached garage, constructing a pool in a courtyard, and installing a driveway and landscaping. The development will include a lot split, with the existing home and new ADU on one lot, and the new single-family residence and historic cottage on the other. [618 Bayou Blvd; case 26-707] Application for demolition of a historic structure at 618 Bayou Blvd. The Architectural Review Board is tasked with determining if the structure meets National Register of Historic Places criteria for significance and if it is subject to a demolition delay. The structure, built in 1908, is potentially significant for its architecture and early development of the East Pensacola Heights neighborhood.
