[21-35-28-00-279; case CUP#9-2025] Conditional Use Permit CUP#9-2025, located at Parcel ID# 21-35-28-00-279, was tabled by the Planning and Zoning Commission to the June 17, 2026 meeting at the applicant's request. A traffic study was suggested by Member Garrod. Rick Schmidt of Titusville, Florida intended to speak on this item but was advised to wait until the June 17 meeting. Stan Johnston of Titusville, Florida provided a handout of an email he sent to the Commission. The City Council will be taking a summer recess, and the June 23, 2026 City Council meeting has been cancelled. Chairman Aton requested a location map be included with CUP#9-2025 on the June 17 agenda. Member Garrod will be unavailable for the June 17 meeting. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the Aerospace and Light Manufacturing Ordinance with specific amendments. The recommended changes include: Section 28-110 Childcare facility (c) (1) (a) to remove the conditional use permit requirement when a childcare facility is approved as part of an approved or existing PID or master plan as an accessory use; and Section 25-154 Parking Structures (2) to allow parking structures in the Planned Development (PID) zoning district as an accessory use when part of an approved or existing PID or master plan. The ordinance will also include definitions provided by Member Troutman. Public comment was not directly related to this ordinance during this meeting.
