The Titusville Environmental Commission met on June 10, 2026. The commission recommended approval of the Comprehensive Plan Evaluation and Appraisal Report (EAR) to the state. They also recommended approval of changes to Wetland Conservation policies, specifically Policy 1.1.6 and Policy 1.1.7, and other policies within Objective 1.1 and Objective 1.6, with the exception of Policy 1.1.5, Policy 1.1.9, and Policy 1.6.5, which will be further reviewed at the July 15, 2026 meeting. Public comment included Stan Johnston speaking on basic principles of sewage and water flow. Mary Sphar presented proposed changes to wetland policies. Discussions also touched upon the impacts of rocket launches and future outreach opportunities.
