Clay County Board of Commissioners approved the General Construction Fund Grant Contract for the Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) Remodel Project. The project involves renovating and converting space at the West Central Regional Juvenile Center into a PRTF. $1.2 million in state funding was authorized during the 2025 Minnesota legislative session. The grant funding is from the Clean Water Fund and will cover testing for arsenic, coliform bacteria, lead, manganese, and nitrate.
